ifcopenshell.api.alignment.get_curve_segment.get_curve_segment(layout: ifcopenshell.entity_instance, segment: ifcopenshell.entity_instance) → ifcopenshell.entity_instance

Returns the IfcCurveSegment associated with the given alignment segment. If the curve segment does not exist, None is returned.

Example:

horizontal = model.by_type("IfcAlignmentHorizontal")[0]
curve_segment = ifcopenshell.api.alignment.get_curve_segment(horizontal, alignment_segment)
