ifcopenshell.api.alignment.get_alignment_station.get_alignment_station(file: ifcopenshell.file, alignment: ifcopenshell.entity_instance) → float

Returns the start station of the alignment. If the alignment is nested by an IfcReferent the referent is checked for PredefinedType of STATION and an occurance of Pset_Stationing.Station, otherwise start station is taken to be 0.0.
